Parent Leadership Council

的 Parent Leadership Council (PLC) includes 父母 of current and recently graduated Harvey Mudd students who are committed to building community among our 父母 and fostering supportive relationships between 父母 and the College.

任务

In collaboration with the Office of College Advancement (OCA), the Harvey Mudd College Parent Leadership Council leads by example, serving as ambassadors to fellow HMC 父母 by encouraging participation in regional, virtual and on-campus events, and inspiring leadership-level support through thoughtful outreach and stewardship.

成员的期望

• Contribute to HMC’s 年度基金 at the leadership level each year (minimum of $1,000)
• Act as an ambassador and resource to the HMC parent community
• Complete at least one leadership-level volunteer responsibility each year (examples of this include welcoming first-year families, hosting or co-hosting an event, speaking on a parent panel, writing an article for the parent enews, 等.)

Philanthropic Support

的 年度基金 provides a way for alumni, 父母, 教师, 工作人员, students and other friends to make annual gifts to Harvey Mudd College that, 当汇集在一起, provide a significant source of revenue necessary to fund the ongoing operation of the College. 的 PLC provides philanthropic support via donations, authoring solicitation appeal letters and through end-of-the-year thank you outreach.
